  • Research and Innovation: conduct trials to test different cannabis strains, growing techniques, or new technology. Staying on top of the latest industry trends and research will help us continuously improve our processes.

  • Irrigation and Watering: design and manage irrigation systems that use water efficiently. By monitoring moisture levels in the soil, you’ll ensure plants get the right amount of water and adjust schedules as needed.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Making sure we follow all state and local laws related to cannabis cultivation is critical. You’ll be responsible for ensuring we properly handle pesticides, fertilisers, and other materials, staying within regulatory guidelines.

  • Sustainability and Resource Use: You’ll help us adopt more sustainable farming methods, reducing water, energy, and chemical use wherever possible. This could mean focusing on organic growing, recycling resources, or finding ways to minimise our environmental impact.

  • Working with the Team: Collaboration is key! You’ll work closely with growers, technicians, agronomists and the rest of the cultivation team to keep things running smoothly. Plus, you’ll share your agronomic knowledge with the team to ensure best practices are followed.

  • Keeping Records: Accurate documentation is important, whether it’s tracking planting schedules or noting when we’ve applied fertilisers or pesticides. You’ll keep detailed records to help with internal tracking and regulatory audits.
