We are seeking a meticulous and motivated Finance Assistant to support our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or accounting, with experience in regulatory compliance, preferably within the cannabis industry. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payments to suppliers and the state

  • Issue of IRS guides

  • Insertion of purchase orders and invoices in ERP.

  • Support with delivery of fiscal obligations.

  • Support in the identification of relevant grants.

  • Support with monthly financial reports.

  • Contact with our bank, accountant and suppliers.

  • Support with treasury management.

  • Support with annual budget.

  • Documentary control.

  • Bank reconciliation.

  • Stock count.

  • Other tasks inherent to the function of a Financial Assistant

  • Invoicing

  • Control customer receipts

  • Forecast sales support

  • Development of sales forecast in ERP

  • Support with management account (KPI, control field costs and sales revenue).

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role.

  • Knowledge of financial regulations.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
